A Message from USIP

The coronavirus pandemic has upended lives and livelihoods around the world, and a long-overdue reckoning about systemic racial injustice in the United States have left many looking for a new way forward.

These challenging circumstances inspire USIP to recommit ourselves to a core part of our congressionally mandated mission: to serve the American people directly by providing education and resources to build just, peaceful and transformative ways to resolve conflict.

USIP is extending for now tuition-free access to its entire catalog of online courses  for anyone looking for tools, skills and insights on conflict transformation. More than 35 years in the peacebuilding field has taught us that conflict, though inevitable, can be resolved nonviolently and can be transformative
