Hafsa Bouderdaben |  Harmony School of Advancement | Spring, Texas

Coordinator: Amanda Horton

Hi, I'm 16 years old and senior in high school. I'm really interested in gender studies, so this year's topic was just perfect for me. I like to get involved in things that will develop me as a person while helping other people, like Girl Scouts, my Muslim Student Association, and other community events. I live in the suburbs of Houston, one of the best cities in the world (my opinion), which has opened my eyes to a lot of issues, such as homelessness, and human trafficking. When I go to college next year, wherever I end up, I want to actively work to solve these issues, through my passion for law and psychology. Going to competitions like National History Day and debate competitions makes me feel like I can succeed. Thanks for listening!
