Joe Lataille is USIP’s chief financial officer and vice president of finance. He joined the Institute in 2004 and has also served as budget director, acting procurement officer and budget analyst, among other roles.

Before joining USIP, Joe worked as a sales executive with an international defense firm responsible for supporting business development and served in the Peace Corps in Jordan where he taught English and conducted teacher training in various settings. He has traveled extensively in the Middle East.

Lataille has a master's in public administration from The George Washington University with a joint focus on nonprofit management and governmental budgeting. At the College of William and Mary, Lataille obtained a bachelor's in international relations with a focus on Middle East studies and he has completed extensive trainings in government finance and appropriations law. He is married and has three children.
