Since August, more than 600,000 Rohingya Muslims have been forced to flee their villages for the relative safety of Bangladesh. Some reports include claims of men and children slaughtered, women gang-raped and villages burned throughout the Rohingya’s home of Rakhine State, in the country’s northwest.

التقارير الدوليه حول إنتهاكات حقوق الانسان في ليبيا تلفت النظر الى ألإشكالات القانونيه والحقوقيه المرتبطه بسؤ أحوال السجون الليبيه. تحذر هذه التقارير من تداعيات الموقف الحالي وتقدم افكار اصلاحيه قابله للتنفيذ وتستحق النظر فيها. يلخص هذا المقال ماورد في بعض هذه التقارير في محاوله للفت النظر الى كيفية البدء بخطو خطوات اولى نحو إنشاء نظام سجني قائم علي مبادئ التأهيل والإصلاح ومراعي للقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان وقواﻋد الأُمم المتحده بشأن معاملة السجناء.

El próximo 25 y 26 de septiembre se llevará a cabo el primer taller “Dialogo Regional de Paz, cerrando brechas entre los acuerdos de La Habana y la agenda del Cauca”, donde tendrán como invitados especiales al Centro de Estúdios Latino-americanos de la Universidad de Georgetown (E.E.U.U.), el Departamento de Ciencia Política de la Universidad de los Andes, el Instituto de Paz de Estados Unidos (USIP), GIZ-Pro indígena, Gobernación del Cauca, Espacio Regional de Paz, Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca (CRIC).
