The USIP Academy leads the Institute in

Since 1997, the USIP Academy has trained or educated 65,000—and counting—on building peace.
The Academy’s onsite courses offer the opportunity to engage face-to-face with instructors—many of whom have firsthand experience in conflict zones. The Academy's fieldwork provides teacher training and curriculum development, training of trainers, dialogue and negotiation training and other forms of capacity building, as well as preparing individuals and organizations for conflict management in all its phases.
