A prominent expert on the Arab-Israeli conflict in the Arab world and wider Middle Eastern politics, Hassan Barari offers a critical assessment of the status of Israeli studies in the Arab World since the establishment of Israel in 1948. In addition to serving as a columnist for a daily newspaper in Amman, he has held a research and teaching position at the University of Jordan’s Center for Strategic Studies. Barari also participates in diplomatic training for Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Barari holds a B.A. from the University of Jordan, an M.A. from the University of Leeds, and a Ph.D. in international relations from England’s University of Durham.
