The web site for Index on Africa, a project of the Norwegian Council for Africa, contains extensive annotated links, organized by news pages, subject pages and country pages. Within each individual country page, links are organized by subject category. Interesting features include the number of links listed for each category, the tabulation of hits on a specific link since it was added to the web page, as well as the opportunity to rate the link. Search capability is available for the web site.

The web site of the government of Rwanda has sections on the government structure, history and politics, geography, economy and finance, tourism and travel, news updates, FAQs and governance, and a section on genocide and justice which includes a list of Category 1 suspects still at large. The government's web site also links to the President's web site and related web sites.
African Union

Successor organization to the Organization of African Unity (OAU), the African Union's web site has news and events, documents, a listing of member states (including Rwanda) and related web links.
United Nations
- Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN): Rwanda
IRIN, a unit of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), provides a clearinghouse of information for humanitarian and international communities on the crises in sub-Saharan Africa. Its web site contains special reports , news briefs organized by country and region, such as Great Lakes and Central Africa. Special reports for Rwanda focus on the 10th anniversary commemorations of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. An e-mail subscription for IRIN reports is also available. - International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR)
UN web site contains press releases and news, decisions, transcripts of hearings, rules of evidence and procedure, security council resolutions, and other links. The web site also includes the texts of indictment, trial chamber decisions, judgement, sentence and appeal chamber decisions rendered by the International Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda (ICTR) against Jean-Paul Akayesu on charges of genocide, September 2, 1998.
