From Sudan to Iraq and Afghanistan, the U.S. Institute of Peace uses the power of its neutrality and its peacebuilding expertise to bring together groups that might not otherwise meet or coordinate in order to resolve and manage conflicts without violence. By conducting educational workshops, facilitating dialogues and other activities, the Institute works to bolster national security goals.
