Rule of Law in Liberia

Since 2005, USIP has supported efforts to rebuild the justice system in Liberia through projects focused on the non-state justice system and law reform.

Model Codes for Post-Conflict Criminal Justice in Haiti

Haiti's criminal laws, some of which date from 1860, fail to address the country's current spate of crime.  USIP is currently working with the Haitian government to assist in legal reform efforts.
