Wong will play a leadership role in ensuring effective USIP institutional relations and interaction with the federal government, especially the Departments of Defense, State and Homeland Security, and USAID and the Peace Corps. |

As the number of students trained at its Academy for International Conflict Management and Peacebuilding climbs toward 25,000, the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) also welcomes an accomplished new dean. Dr. Lauren Van Metre has been named the Academy’s dean of students.
