  The web site for The Index on Africa, a project of the Norwegian Council for Africa, contains extensive annotated links organized by subjects and countries, Also includes news sources and discussion boards. Within each individual country page, links are organized by subject category.   Web site of ECOWAS, available in English, French and Portuguese (under development), with a description and structure of the organization, country profiles of each of the fifteen member countries, including Sierra Leone, with publications, press releases, meetings and conferences.

• Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN): Sierra Leone
  IRIN, a unit of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), provides a clearinghouse of information for humanitarian and international communities on the crises in sub-Saharan Africa. Its web site contains special reports and news briefs organized by country and region, such as West Africa. Includes links to related web sites and additional news reports by subject or theme. An e-mail subscription for IRIN reports is also available.
• Reliefweb: Countries and Emergencies: Sierra Leone
  ReliefWeb, a project of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), "is the global hub for time-critical humanitarian information on Complex Emergencies and Natural Disasters." The country listing includes the latest news updates, links to complex emergency information, data on the region and neighboring countries, as well as key documents and maps.
