Anne Hingeley
Congressional Relations Specialist
Anne Hingeley joined USIP in June 2003 as a congressional relations specialist. She previously worked as the congressional coordinator for the government affairs affiliate of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, a national grassroots civil rights and foreign policy organization.
From September 1993 to March 2002, Hingeley worked at the Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm Bannerman and Associates, where she tracked legislative issues for clients and worked with embassy officials explaining the role of Congress and the legislative process. Her experience covers diverse congressional issues affecting several regions, including the Middle East, East Asia and Central America.
Hingeley is a 1993 graduate of American University’s School of International Service. She has studied and traveled extensively in Europe and Russia.
