Intervention: Can We Get It Right?

Should the U.S. get out of the peace operations business or is it now more important than ever to find effective ways to manage and prevent international conflict in the wake of September 11th? In conjunction with the release of Turbulent Peace: The Challenges of Managing International Conflict, the U.S. Institute of Peace hosted a special discussion on the challenges of international intervention. Led by Institute Board Chairman and seasoned diplomat Dr. Chester Crocker, the panel featured insights from several leading international affairs experts.
