Bishop of Kosovo Condemns Violence and Intolerance

The speakers discussed:

  • peaceful solutions to the Kosovo crisis
  • prospects for democracy in Serbia
  • the role religious leaders should play in peace building and reconciliation in the Balkans.

  • Bishop Artimije Radosavljevic
    Serbian Orthodox Church

    Bishop Artimije spoke on behalf of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle and the Serbian Orthodox Church. He believes all people have a right to a peaceful future in Kosovo.

  • Father Sava Janjic
    Senior Monk, Decani Monastery Brotherhood

    Father Sava, known in media circles as the "cybermonk," disseminated first hand information, and debunked misinformation about the Kosovo crisis via the Internet.

  • Momcilo Trajkovic
    President, Serbian Resistance Party

    Mr. Trajkovic is a vocal opponent of the Milosevic regime, and is working for a democratic transformation in Kosovo.
