We welcome contributions to the new U.S. Institute of Peace headquarters project. For those of you who are interested in supporting the Institute's project to build a new permanent headquarters and education center to increase public understanding about the causes of and responses to international conflict, we hope the following information will be useful as you consider your gift to the Institute.   • How to Make a Contribution to the United States Institute of Peace

    If you are interested in making a multi-year pledge, or a gift of annuities or stocks, please call our office to discuss the various opportunities for making contributions to the U.S. Institute of Peace

  • Your Gift is Tax Deductible

    Once we have received your contribution, we will acknowledge your generosity in a letter that states that your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

  • The Endowment of the United States Institute of Peace is a 501 (c) (3)

    In keeping with its mission to serve the American people and the federal government, the headquarters project is a public-private partnership that is funded by grants and gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and the federal government.

  • What Your Gift Will Support

    Your gift will support the Institute’s project to develop, design and construct a new building on the National Mall that is dedicated to advancing peace through conflict prevention, management and resolution. Contributions will be used to help build a peace education center with the goals of increasing public understanding about the causes of and responses to international conflict.
