The Endowment of the United States Institute of Peace is a 501 (c) (3) In keeping with its mission to serve the American people and the federal government, the headquarters project is a public-private partnership that is funded by grants and gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and the federal government. What Your Gift Will Support Your gift will support the Institute’s project to develop, design and construct a new building on the National Mall that is dedicated to advancing peace through conflict prevention, management and resolution. Contributions will be used to help build a peace education center with the goals of increasing public understanding about the causes of and responses to international conflict.
